Jesus Camp: The Movie

There is a fascinating documentary-type movie coming out soon, called Jesus Camp. It's a depiction of what is taking place in churches and church camps all over America, and how it is the goal of many Christian leaders to indoctrinate at the earliest age possible supposedly "Christian" behavior and attitudes. To me, it looks like they are trying to recruit these kids into a certain political party at an early age, but that's just me. I hope it comes this way, I really want to see it.

You can see the trailer by going to this link, click on downloads, and go to video.

Yeah I'd like to see it. I have to be honest ....the trailers left me with a bad feeling..like I was watching a "boot camp" not a loving atmosphere.

Exactly. That's what I find fascinating. It reminds me of the church I was at in Dallas - fundamentalist, us good Christians vs. the nasty world mindset.

This is the realization of the abomination that causes desolation... where did I hear that before...

WHOA! The video clip itself is a lot to process! If this is not the beginnings of a cult like atmosphere, I don't know what is. This certainly puts Christianity in the title category of 'looney bin'.
They spoke about the Palestinians raising their young from the womb with hatred toward Christianity (I have my own opinions on Islam mentality)...they need to think about the affects of what brainwashing they are doing with the young, tender and raw emotions of children here under the title of Christianity. This could be a whole other subject....

*I think we should all go and see this together and then go out to eat and discuss it. What'd'ya think?*

The one thing positive I can say is that they have a lot more guts about talking to other people about Christ than we probably do.

while i appreciate that the makers of Jesus Camp let interviewees do all the talking, they were obviously selective about what they let into the final movie release... over all, there is some useful truth in this flick... as long as it's taken with a grain (or maybe a bucket) of salt
